It doesn't matter if you completed your goals or not. I think it's all about the giving and getting support and encouragment that keeps us going. I really didn't think I would successfully complete my goals but I did. I even set up a way of tracking what I have accomplished! And I think that speaks more to me than completion! Glad to have met you and keep at it! You're doing so well!

Re: #Writemotivation Week 3… oops!

More insanerer
© :)

Re: #Writemotivation Week 3… oops!

:) I'm still a student, I can't imagine some of the craziness you (and others) probably have to deal with (or have dealt with)! And to think these sites were the coolest thing ever! Something else that was characteristic of those old sites were the extravagant layouts with jewel decoration. I used to love them! Now they seem so tacky, though they're still great as artworks: http://club.coolmaps.com/si...

Re: #Writemotivation Week 2

You too can relive your horrible past! Kind of weird, but it's kept me on track. I'm taking less courses to help offset the difference, but I'll be staying an extra 8 months to pick up the rest instead of pulling a double load - I couldn't imagine that!

I think all of you writers are just crazy. I definitely understand how @kthanna goes crazy when I do some simple website or code thing - what you all can do it pretty amazing. I don't think I could ever do it!

Re: #Writemotivation Week 2

I think you are doing fine! School is a tough time. I remember changing my major so many times that I had to pull a double load (of English classesK so I could graduate on time! That really zotted the energy out of me. Plus I think that's when I forgot my dream!

I wish you the best of luck in school, and after...and don't ever forget your dream! :) keep yourself surrounded by positive people and you will be much happier because of it!

Re: 2012 Resolutions

A post is a post! :)

Definitely agree with you on the internet thing. I've loved being able to go online and chat with so many people, and have met a lot who I've kept in contact with. I wouldn't have met anyone here otherwise :)

I hope it carries through the year as well! It's off to a great start, and I can't wait to expand my (ever growing) list of blogs to read!

Re: 2012 Resolutions

I didn't add a #writemotivation themed post either but hey, we got a post :)

I feel your pain of being introverted. One good thing about the internet is it allows us to open up without fear of that "stop staring at me like I've got boogers smeared all over my face"! :) It sure has helped me gain more fried than I ever thought I could ever have. I have 1 offline friend and we don't really hang out, mainly because of the age diffeence and she's single. I have a fiction writers group I join once a month or so, but nothing outside of that. Besides, I take care of my son and disabled vet hubs. So, online friends area better fit for me, even though some of them I wish were much nearer!

Love how you called KT's #writemotivation a campaign. Here's hoping it will carry on throughout the year!

Re: Learning, Goals, and #Writemotivation

I'm liking it so far, especially how I can get it to work easily linking Twitter.

Thanks for stopping by, and good luck with your goals as well :) I just got back and will have to start catching up on all of the other blogs now too!

Re: Learning, Goals, and #Writemotivation

I had disqus as my comment system for a while, and I really liked it (helped keep away the spammers), but the very few people actually commenting on my blog didn't like it, so I bowed to peer pressure and took it off. :-)

Glad you're joining in on #writemotivation even if you don't classify yourself as a writer. Best of luck with your goals this month, even if one of your goals is pretty much figuring out your goals. :-)

Re: Learning, Goals, and #Writemotivation

I need to get used to this new comment system.
